The fish came onto the bait instantly and dad was into a 15.08 Mirror of excellent quality. Twenty minutes had passed and in again a 16.08 Mirror yet again on the bank. Myself , well it took around an hour for the fish to come on outside the house ( dam wall ) with a 21.14 for the first take followed by a 23.05 Mirror around 25 min. Later. Ray fishing mid water found a small head of carp and a succession of fish to around 10lb came thick and fast.

As the night sky fell we were hitting the fish with quick runs with a 16.03 common , 17.08 Mirror , 24.01 Mirror , 21.09 Mirror, and a 20.07 Mirror all in all a excellent evening.

The following morning ( early ) prior to leaving for the ferry we couldn't resist sitting behind the rods . Dad again on the dam wall and a full morning of fish for him and a PB on three different fish. He had a 26.03 Mirror ( PB) 21.07 Common ( PB ) 12.09 Catfish (PB)

With myself and Ray also fishing the morning we only had a couple 20.05 Mirror , 21.07 Mirror, 19.09 Mirror, 15.14 Common.

With the ferry time getting close we had to leave with such a good head of carp and a successfully session it was very difficult. But with dad booking up for next year it won't be long before we see you both again.

In total on returning home I looked closer at the catches. 10x20 ,2x19 , 1x17 , 5xCats from 12 - 8 lb, excluding fish from 10-15lb a total for the session was 321.09lb.

People get yourself there. If we can do this in 24hrs what can you achieve within a week !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
