We are Iain & Kim, we moved lock stock & barrel in October 2003.
After buying the empty lake and derelict property on the dam wall, months of hard work restoring the house, putting in the anglers accommodation & showers, stocking the lake, building swims, managing the acreage & copses we are still only at the beginning of, what we hope will be, a long and happy journey.
We live and breath “Rushes” Iain is the fishery manager & after 30yrs carp fishing, what he doesn’t know about the lake can be written on a postage stamp. I do the cooking, cleaning, admin and everything else in between.
We are also here to do supermarket runs, and just generally look after you, your holiday is important to us and we will do all that we can to ensure it lives up to your expectations.
